When you’re a runner, you put your feet through a lot with every single mile, whether on pavement, hitting the trails, or running on the treadmill. All that extra impact on your feet can take its toll over time. Since our feet do so much for us, wouldn’t it be nice to show them a little TLC? That’s where the new OOFOS OOmg comes in!
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been wearing the OOFOS OOmg recovery shoe either after my long runs, between fitness classes, and even to work! They are extremely comfortable and my feet have never felt better! I’m so excited to finally share my full review!

OOFOS OOmg Product Review
This is my first time reviewing a pair of shoes on the blog! I was so excited when BibRave gave me the opportunity to test out the OOFOS OOmg. I’ve never worn the OOFOS brand so I was curious to learn what all the “hype” was about. I have to admit that I was a little skeptical as to whether I would like these shoes, but spoiler alert – I love them! Let me tell you more about the OOFOS brand, the OOmg’s, and why I think you should seriously consider getting your own pair!
What Are OOFOS?
Have you ever seen runners with those “funny looking” sandals after a race? It’s a good chance that they are wearing OOFOS! OOFOS aren’t your everyday flip-flops – they are made with a specialized foam that absorbs shock and a design that hugs your arches – just what your feet need after a tough workout!
As you can see above, OOFOS come in a wide variety of styles and colors – they have sandals, clogs, slides, and the newest Oomg low shoe! Don’t think that OOFOS aren’t just for women – lots of men wear them for recovery purposes as well! They are both stylish and functional – the perfect combination!
The OOFOS Oomg currently come in White/Black, Black/Gray, and Black/Citron and are currently only offered in women’s sizes.
What’s the Technology?
Let me tell you more about how the OOFOS OOmg works! OOfoam technology absorbs 37% more impact than traditional footwear foam materials to reduce the stress on your feet and joints. The OOmg features a breakthrough in shoe construction that eliminates unnecessary layers and leaves only OOfoam between your foot and the ground. New OOtex 4-way stretch mesh upper conforms to your feet and the stretchable strap adds support over the arch without binding. These technologies combine to aid in the recovery process and create an incredibly comfortable shoe you can wear anywhere.

Wearing theOOFOS OOmg
I was so excited to get these shoes in the mail – I’ve never had a shoe box that looked like this! I tried them on immediately and while they were just a pinch tight in the toebox (I ordered a size 9), they felt extremely comfortable on my feet! The bright green insoles with the OOfoam technology fit my arches like a glove. I’ve never had shoes with that kind of comfort, and I’ve worn a lot of shoes! I’ve had custom insoles in my running shoes in the past, but it’s just not the same!
I’ve been wearing the OOFOS OOmg any time, any place! My favorite time to wear them is after a long run when I’m out and about. A few weeks ago, I had a really tough 11-mile run on an asphalt trail. I was so glad that I brought the OOmg’s with me so that I could switch out my shoes post-run and let the recovery process begin for my feet! Honestly, I was pretty doubtful whether they would work, but I was pleasantly surprised! My feet really did feel better as the day went on!
Even though these are fairly “minimalist” shoes, the support is fantastic. That’s been my biggest problem with minimalist shoes – I feel too close to the ground. With the OOmg’s, I’ve been able to wear them a few times while out with my walking team at work and feel even more refreshed by the end of the walk! My feet are much happier these days!

In case you couldn’t tell, I’m absolutely in love with the OOFOS OOmg and I’m so glad that they are the newest member of my shoe collection! I’ve yet to throw them in the washing machine, but the white part of the shoes gets dirty pretty easily. I’ll probably have to throw them in the washer this weekend!
I really recommend finding the OOmg’s at a specialty running store or running expo so that you can try them for yourself. They really have been a pleasant surprise for me and I use any excuse I can to wear them. They are much better than my Sperry boat shoes! If I could get away with wearing them to work every day, I would!

Get Your Own Pair of OOFOS OOmg!
You can now buy your own pair of OOFOS OOmg’s onlineand possibly in a running store near you! While they are currently only women sizes, I’ve been told that men who wear a size 9-10 can also have great success with these shoes. Definitely, check it out!
Now that I’ve got the OOmg’s, it’s about time that I get a pair of their Ooriginal sport sandals! Summer is coming! I’m really enjoying the OOFOS brand and can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
